James Chacko’s journey of faith and service is a testament to his unwavering dedication to God’s calling. Born and raised in Kerala, James embraced his spiritual path at an early age, considering God as his guide and mentor through every phase of life. By the age of 12, he had already committed his life to serving God, choosing baptism and dedicating himself fully to his spiritual mission. Following his schooling, he pursued higher studies at St. Thomas College, deepening his faith and theological knowledge. His formal Bible training, which he undertook in Kerala and Delhi, further equipped him for his journey in ministry.
As a multifaceted servant of God—preacher, evangelist, writer, composer, and translator—James has been recognized for his charitable efforts with various awards. On June 15, 2009, he entered the Telangana region, guided by a divine calling to bring God’s message to the people. Despite numerous challenges, he has carried forward this mission with steadfast faith and prayer.
Through his dedication, James founded the Rapha Gospel Mission Council of Missionary Churches in India, which has flourished under his leadership. His ministry has led to the establishment of 93 congregations and trained over 100 servants of God in a remarkably short time, spreading the Gospel and fostering new leaders. His initiatives have given rise to key wings of the mission, including Rapha Bible College, Rapha Mission School, Rapha Youth Fellowship, and Rapha Women Fellowship.
